2026 Adré-Chad Refugees Camp Food Fund
We are committed to doing our part to help alleviate the suffering of Sudanese refugees living in the Adré refugee camp in Chad. In July 2025, our Executive Director, Lizzy Walker, traveled to Adré to assess how we could support the community. She witnessed deeply concerning conditions: food, clean water, and medicine remain the most urgent needs. This campaign is focused on purchasing food and basic hygiene supplies locally in Adré, prioritizing vulnerable women and children. To ensure your donation goes fully toward critical aid, ACRT volunteers cover 100% of their own travel costs.
What the $10,000 goal achieves on the ground:
- Purchases local food staples (flour, grains, cooking oil) for families in the Adré camp
- Supplies critical personal hygiene kits for vulnerable women and children
- 100% goes directly to local aid—volunteers cover all of their own travel expenses.
